How it works
We use a Google Street View pro-certified camera system, which captures images in all directions through six lenses. The camera is mounted onto a backpack frame and walked down the street or path, capturing a series of photos along the way.
Precise location data from GPS and GLONASS satellites is added to the photos, 10 times per second. Additional sensors track the movement and tilt of the camera to aid in aligning the photos later.
Software then "stitches" the six separate photo angles together into a single image. The resulting image covers the entire view in all directions, including above (zenith) and below (nadir) the camera. A custom logo can be added into the nadir region during this step.
Finally, the images and their associated location data are uploaded to Google Maps, where they are converted into Street View "spheres". Once uploaded and verified by Google, anyone using Google Maps or Google Earth can see the new Local 360° images in the same way as regular Google Street View images.

Real Estate
Google Street View is an indispensible tool for buyers. Embedded into popular real estate websites such as Trulia and Zillow, the Street View enables buyers to see the external view of the property and surrounding neighborhood.
However, Google Street View is often out of date, sometimes by a decade or more. For rural areas and new construction, there may not be any existing Street View coverage at all.

Google Street View does not typically cover pedestrian areas. Using our walkable camera system, we will photograph the paths, trails, and plazas that Google misses. Show potential visitors the best part of your parks, to entice them to visit in-person.
